there were 2 big events i went to , and i wanna talk about both~
and jun's birthday !
i tried out a totally new tea place for valentine's day with my dad ! i also wanted to celebrate my favourite character jun's birthday , which influenced my coord~
i really wanted to do something nice for valentine's day since sometimes it can get lonely , and my dad stepped up to take me on a father-daughter valentine's date~
we went to a “galentine’s” event by accident.. oops LOL~ but it was a very nice location and the tea was lovely !
i opted for a hibscus and rosehip black tea , i really can't help myself when it comes to roses (LOL~)
the food was extremely yummy, my highlights absolutely include the caviar croissant and deviled eggs, as well as the creme brulee & offscreen scones... i also appreciated the mocktail they prepared (i'm 21 ! i just dont drink :P)
since we arrived later in the day , we basically had the space to ourselves ! it allowed me to FORCE my dad to help me with oshikatsu nonsense LOL~
i set up all my jun merch...
so much of this i had just managed to get... it's hard to find stuff since hes a bit of a spoiler character but also the game is so old , there's barely anything out there ;-;
he's really my favourite character... i relate to him a lot and he's just an extremely interesting character... he's big into flower language like me , so i feel a huge connection to him there !
his birthday is valentine's day and he likes flowers & chocolates which i'm glad for... wouldn't it be awful to have that bday and hate it LOL ?!
my coordinate was inspired by him ! he's associated with angels and also the colour black , so i paired my innocent world angel print JSK with my black wirehead frill collar blouse ! -- i also opted for a floral wirehead headdress & floral baby socks to compliment the print and also tie in our floral interests with the valentine's day theme !
it feels maybe a bit edgier than a typical valentine's day coordinate (though i had one planned for the day after , see next section !) , but i had a lot of fun~ also , the "angel print" are cupids from collaged valentine's day cards , so i'd argue its totally on theme :3c
my father was extremely sweet and wrapped up a white rose bouquet for me by hand... he knows i'm interested in flower language as aforementioned and took note of the fact they're more to do with purity and innocence than romance , which i thought was so sweet !
he also indulged me by taking more photos outside... the garden was pretty despite the freezing and dull weather , so i got these lovely photos~
i had a really nice time . i was so happy to explore a new tea service , celebrate jun's birthday , celebrate valentine's day , and spend 1:1 time with my father !
i really felt like a princess that day , so thank you again for indulging me dad..!!
every year , my community has one of (if not absolutely) its biggest events , the valentine's meetup !!!!!
it doubles as a welcome event for new members - it hadn't been my first one , but i've always made new friends at it !!!!!!!!
for that reason , i always work super hard on my coords... i want to make a good first impression right LOL~
(i was so annoyed my bangs were overgrown...)
i really wanted to wear the new meta gobelin set since i hadn't worn it to an event yet , but it didn't feel very "valentine's-y", so i paired it with a pink baby blouse & pink floral socks my friend gifted me to fit the theme better..! i also of course had to bring my baby heart enamel bag..!
i was worried it would look a bit off since i'd only coordinated it with ivory and white before , but i think it turned out well..!
i love this set to death... i'm a total gobelin fiend and i think the long dress is super elegant... and of course the capelet is what i've been wanting forever !!!!!
at the meetup , we exchange valentines.. i had made mine virtually and brought in flower candies + tea candies to hand out !
i ended up being late , oops... but not too late to see my friends :3

it always ends up being 40-50 people which can get insane sometimes , and i end up missing some...! but i always enjoy seeing both familar and new friendly faces !!!!!!!!

per usual... we ended up also heading out afterwards to another place once the crowd had cleared~
jasteria, angelita, & i all got tea together and walked around some !!! it was a cold and humid day , but it was really nice to hang out some more after such a busy start to my semester !!!!!!
it was a super long but super fun day . i always enjoy this meetup and the friends i see & make !
and i'm still munching on my candy haul....
