additional comments: i really wanted to debut this "classic BABY" dress at the tea party ! i also managed to twin with two friends of mine , as well as enjoyed the company of comm members and fellow fashion show models & attendees ! it made me so happy to see so many people wearing BABY all at once & being together , and i think the designers felt similarly ! i always love a high tea , so this was very fun~ i hope BABY comes back soon for another magical experience~

additional comments: i was really excited to wear this piece at an event for the first time ! my friends hosted a panel on old school lolita so i wanted to wear an old school revival piece for it~ it ended up being a little silly since btssb was a guest at the con & i ended up showing in full metamorphose down to the socks >u<; !

additional comments: for this coordinate , i was asked to create & model a "classic lolita" look for a local fashion show~ though it's not necessarily the archetypical "lolita" look , i feel like i still showed the sentiment of classic lolita in my coordinate here ! i also had a partner who wore a more typical classical look ;P

my reasoning for the coordinate within the show: i wanted to model a very historical-inspired look, and drew on regency silhouettes and styling ! i thought really hard about the rhythm of colours in this, trying to have white on my limbs , creams on my top and bottom (and center with the necklace !) - i love trying to figure out how to make coordinates work out !

additional comments: since i would be travelling on a plane with only one bag , i had to pack very light for this trip . i wanted something comfortable and elegant , since i would be working with rare books and later having a dinner with our host and collector ! it's quite toned down , to the point some may argue it isn't even lolita , but the sentiment was still there !

additional comments: for this coordinate , i was going to a meetup hosted by professor erica kanesaka (of "cute studies") where she interviewed each of us about our connection to lolita fashion and kawaii culture . i wanted to dress in something that showed off my aesthetic sensibilities when it came to lolita to best represent myself ! we enjoyed yummy food and drinks as well as browsed some GLBs brought ! it was incredibly fun , and i think professor erica's work is incredibly interesting and important . i was so glad to be able to do this !
